Target variation of one of the finest combat handguns ever designed. This example has a longer barrel that extends out the slide and has the front sight mounted directly to the barrel to increase the sight radius. Front sight is drift adjustable, and original dovetail on the slide has been filled by a cosmetic tail, adjustable rear sight. Later stepped and serrated slide release, black composite grips with cutout for lanyard loop. Heel magazine release. Slide marked on left side with serial number, SIG logo, and model designation, with cocking serrations at rear. Left side of frame rail marked with serial number, "Swiss Made", and proof. Barrel marked with SIG logo, caliber designation, and matching serial number. Accompanied by SIG blue box with front sight tool and magazine loader, housed in a cardboard slip. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the factory finishes, some very minor marks from handling and storage, and a silver line between the fire control markings. Front sight ring and frame are a slightly different color than balance of pistol, with slide a darker color. Mechanically fine, bore is excellent, bright and shiny with crisp rifling. Box is good with some age related distress and peeling. Foam has crystallized and is extremely fragile. Small tools good.
