The vase is signed on the bottom with the Royal Copenhagen inkstamp logo and hand painted with the “three waves” mark, the artist’s initials, the number 11277 and AB 4. The lid is signed in slip with the “three waves” and Ricard Bocher’s initials. Height 10 1/4 inches. Uncrazed and in excellent original condition. A letter dated 1960 to the original owner from Royal Copenhagen tells us the date of the piece, about its uniqueness and information about the artist. That letter accompanies the urn.
