MATADOR (1986) POSTER, SPANISHSIGNED BY PEDRO ALMONOVAR, DIRECTOR 39½ x 27½in. (100.3 x 69.8 cm) This film was directed by Pedro Almodóvar and stars Assumpta Serna, Antonio Banderas and Nacho Martínez. It tells the story of a student matador, Ángel Jiménez (Antonio Banderas), who confesses to murders that he did not commit. The film explores the dark side of human behaviour, and subjects such as death, sex and religion. Mr. Sohal has always been a great admirer of Pedro Almodóvar and was lucky to meet him at a book signing in London, where he was promoting his new book The Pedro Almodóvar Archives. When he was shown the posters he said 'wow you have all the original Spanish posters, I am really impressed'. It is rare for anyone to have an original film poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs and video/dvd sleeves. It is unusual to have the film's poster with you when you try to obtain signatures. To view shipping calculator, please click here
