Maurice Setters (1936-2020) early Scrapbook tracking his career from the early days in the 1950s – A player for Exeter City, West Bromwich Albion, Manchester United, Stoke City plus others; Republic of Ireland Assistant Manager (1986-1995) with Jackie Charlton (Manager), played for England boys, youth and U23s during his career; also best man to Bobby Charlton’s wedding in 1961. Setters personal scrapbook tracking his career from the early days in the 1950s Exeter City reserves + ‘A’ team onwards to the transfer and new career path at West Bromwich Albion to the early 1960s; scrapbook is full of match reports, newspaper articles/photos etc. providing good quantity of information. Also in addition, 3 packs of cuttings for the period leading to his transfer to Stoke City. Also 1963 FA Cup final newspapers with match reports of the match with Manchester Utd, the winners and Setters gained a winners medal in due course. FIFA 1990 World Cup Italia manual with full workshop details/instructions issued to players/management of the Republic of Ireland team (60+ pages) and a pack of postcard size photos of Maurice each one with his autograph (x10); also a photograph (full Vatican official issue) of the Ireland team being presented to the Pope on 8 June 1990 with Maurice on the second row. Also a 50 page magazine Sir Bobby Robson ‘The Langley Park Years and afterwards’ with illustrations/photos of Bobby in his playing days issued to raise funds for the Bobby Robson Foundation (charity) autographed to the cover by Maurice Setters.
