Bolt-action training rifle patterned after K98 rifle and manufactured by Mauser. Bolt handle and barrel show matching serial numbers. Top of receiver has MAUSER logo along with KK-WEHRSPORTGEWEHR/MAUSER0WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF J/N. Barrel and Receiver show {Eagle}/N mark with bolt handle marked {WWII German Eagle}. Condition: Very Good. Bore is minty with clearly defined rifling. Metal finish shows spotted brown patina on bayonet lug, spots of oxidation on upper barrel band and on right barrel. Finish elsewhere is very strong with some scratches and mars. Wood furniture has some handling wear with scratches to left side of stock and some mars to left wrist.
