Grevel & Co., [1891]. 2° (304 x 232mm). 8 hand-coloured plates with moving parts operated by tabs (many defective, some spotting and staining). Original cloth-backed coloured pictorial boards (extremities rubbed). Provenance : siganture dated 1892 and inscription dated 1936 on front free endpaper. With a quantity of other children's and illustrated books including Gracia Kasson & E. Tschantré's Tin Tans at Play (London, Ernest Nister, [n.d.]), a number of small editions of The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam and a quantity of ephemera, mostly chromolithographed Christmas and greetings cards from the late 19th-century, some in an album.
