FIRST EDITION of both works; Samson Agonistes with separate title-page and pagination but continuous quiring with Paradise Regain'd , p. 67 with misspelling "loah" in line 2, license leaf at front, errata leaf at end. Grolier Wither to Prior 613; Hayward 73; Wing M2152. Provenance : John Foster Wendover, Bucks., England. Inscription dated 19 July 1751 on final blank page. Frederick S. Peck, bookplate.
