[ With: ] a box of collectables from modern fairs (pins, pens, pennants, etc.) This extensive archive provides a very deep background on many of the modern fairs. With each box containing on average several hundred pieces, the Heller archive of modern fairs shows the immense growth of the fairs as vehicles for innovation, design and social interaction on an international level. Also included are materials from the 2005 World Exposition at Aichi, Japan ( Official Handy Book , U.S. Pavilion Almanac , folder containing a letter by Reiji Suzuki, Governor; brochures; clippings and one adult admission card), as well as material pointing towards the future of the international exposition: a brochure for Expo Zaragosa 2008 and Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China.
