High quality American made Smith & Wesson Model 76 machine gun with “U” prefix serial number. Once the initial “T” prefix guns were manufactured, the factory produced guns which had a “U” prefix serial number for the civilian and law enforcement market. These guns exhibit the highest standards of fit and finish as to be expected from this maker. This is a select fire machine gun with an ambidextrous safety/selector, hard composite pistol grip with swing-out rubber covered shoulder loop. Firing characteristics are ergonomic and this gun is both controllable and accurate. A 36 round original magazine is included with this gun. Easily disassembled for cleaning, with good durability, and relatively inexpensive, it makes for a great entry level machine gun, and also has appeal to the more advanced machine gun enthusiast. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent original matte blue finish with some handling marks. Bore is extremely fine, shiny and bright.
