NATURAL HISTORY - CAVE BEAR SKULL REPLICA A museum-quality reproduction of a juvenile cave bear skull, Ursus Spelaeus from the Pleistocene Period (1 million years ago) from Russia. 833 grams, 27cm (10 1/2"). Very fine condition. Footnotes Ursus spelaeus was a species of bear which lived in Europe during the Pleistocene and became extinct at the beginning of the Last Glacial Maximum about 27,500 years ago. This is cast of the original from a private collection.
