NEAR EASTERN NEO-ASSYRIAN CARNELIAN CYLINDER SEAL 9th-8th century BC A veined carnelian cylinder seal depicting a kneeling archer with his dog, his bow drawn back and aimed at a deer, standing with its front legs raised, a star above; pierced vertically for suspension. 10 grams, 28 mm (2"). Very fine condition. Provenance Ex Campbell collection.
