New Kingdom, circa 1550-1070 B.C. Including flat-backed fruit and amuletic jewellery elements of various coloured glazes, a date with suspension loop at each end, 1in. (2.5cm.); a lotus flower in blue glaze with red loop, 2cm., one loop damaged; two other smaller examples in turquoise, 10mm. maximum; a green date palm leaf, 1in. (2.5cm.), loop missing; a red and mauve poppy petal, 15mm., loop missing; a yellow and purple petal, 20mm., loop missing; two blue grape bunches, 15mm. and 13mm., loops missing, and other fruits and flowers; a collection of fragmentary mainly turquoise and green glazed composition ring bezels, some openwork udjat eye examples, others hieroglyphic inscribed, and a number of mainly turquoise glazed ring hoops; four Egyptian re-strung necklaces, including an example of tiny red jasper spherical beads, some interspersed with blue glass beads, with nineteen small pendants in red jasper and feldspar, including fish and lotus flowers, two spherical carnelian beads at the ends, an old ink inscribed label attached, 'Jasper and glass necklace from Thebes ?XIIIth Dynasty. Bought of Rev. Greville Chester August 1989.'; another one of green glaze with sixteen leaf-shaped pendants, interspersed with cylindrical spacer beads; another of cylindrical turquoise and green glazed beads interspersed with three disc beads of other colours, with ten pendants in turquoise and green glaze, including four blue and green dates, three djed pillars, a seated baboon and a standing goddess; another with nineteen red, dark blue and turquoise glass elongated droplet beads, some damaged, interspersed with spherical blue glass examples, and a clear glass pendant drop; variously New Kingdom - Ptolemaic Period, circa 1550-30 B.C.; a fragment of an Egyptian core-formed glass vessel with yellow and white festooned decoration trailed onto the body, New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, 1550-1295 B.C., 2½in. (6.3cm.); five gold elements, including two tiny gold amulets of Taueret, 11mm. maximum diam.; two gold spacer beads and a small leaf, 23mm., New Kingdom or Later (a lot)
