A FINE SELECTION: the first three drawings were produced for Conrad Temminck and Baron Guillaume Laugier de Chartrouse's Nouveau receuil de planches coloriées d'oiseaux (Paris, Strasburg & Amsterdam: 1820-1839), a work which included 600 plates by Hüet or Prêtre.
