An important and rare 18 carat gold one minute tourbillon keyless half-hunter pocketwatch with Kew certificate Signed Northern Goldsmiths Company Newcastle-upon-Tyne, no. 2100, 1925 The frosted gilt three-quarter plate movement jewelled to the centre, the three-armed steel carriage rotating once per minute with bimetallic balance, flat blued steel hairspring with endcurves and lever escapement, under glass cuvette, the cream enamel dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds with blued steel spade hands in plain heavy gold case with five piece hinges, Arabic chapter ring to the front cover with the original Class A certificate from the National Physical Laboratory, dial and movement signed, case and movement numbered 56 mm. diam.
