Containing a particular description of Indosthan, the Mogul’s Empire, the Oriental Ilands, Japan, China, translated by John Davies, 2nd edition corrected, John Starkey and Thomas Basset, 1669, engraved title, six double-page or folding engraved maps (Livonia, Muscovy, River Wolga, Persia, Province of Kilan & East-Indies), two single-page engraved portraits, and one engraved illustration to text of the Muscovian Language (complete), some minor soiling, map of the River Wolga with some marks, creases, and small repairs, map of Persia with short tear to one fold, and some minor creases, 18th century bookplate of the ecclesiastical library of Peterborough Cathedral to verso of title, contemporary full calf, gilt decorated spine, worn to edges and covers detached, folio.
