Smith Printer to the University Date: 1829 Description: 15 pp. (4to) 27x21.5 cm (10½x8½"), removed from bound volume with remains of stitching on spine. First Edition. Inscribed on the title page "from the author," but the recipient's name above has been clipped off. From the Transactions of the Cambridge Philosophical Society. "Read Dec. 8, 1828". OCLC/WorldCat lists only one copy, at Princeton, erroneously stating the number of pages to be 13. Lot Amendments Condition: Top 1" of title page clipped off, as noted above, affecting no printed text; neat ink numbers in top corners of every other page; very good. Item number: 287970
