Original Pencil Drawing of Belinda Bump by VAUGHN BODE, c. 1971 Author: [Original Comic Art] Bodé, Vaughn Date Published: c.1971 Description: Original pencil drawing on art paper, measuring approx. 3¾x4¼", numbered "8" in top right corner, not signed. Matted and framed to 9½x10¼". Excellent condition. Pencil drawing by Vaughn Bodé of his "Belinda Bump" character. This was the eighth in a series of 25 pin-up style drawings of Belinda created for use as spot illustrations in various issues of the men's magazine Cavalier in the early 1970s. "Though Belinda Bump and Dr. Electric were 'killed' in their polluted ship Sunspot, I revived the buxom broad as the mascot for CAVALIER, and I lease her services on a yearly basis to the magazine." — Vaughn Bodé.
