The final letter is probably a letter to the minister of war, in which he expresses his incomprehension for his internment and urgently demands that steps be taken for his release and that he be allowed to remain in France after the war. The letter is accompanied by a watercolor drawing in Cubist forms, depicting a lonely figure with the inscription FRIGOLET.
