I), contemporary dark red morocco attributed to Dêrome le jeune , covers with triple gilt fillets, flat gilt spines ornamented with margarites, gilt inner dentelles (spine of vol. III with unobtrusive wormhole at head, corners rubbed), g.e. [Lewine 395; Vermont 24]; and 6 other editions in French in 14 vols., published 1701-1808 (one edition defective). (17)
