PABLO PICASSO (1881-1973)Visage de faune dated '28 6. 55' (centre right); stamped with the artist's signature, the François and Pierre Hugo reference number, the exemplaires d'auteur reference and numbered 'Picasso 1409 exemplaire d'auteur 1/2' and stamped with the goldsmith's mark and the French assay mark for gold (on the reverse) gold repoussé medallion with wooden presentation box 5.5cm (2 3/16in). diameter Conceived in 1956 and executed in gold by François & Pierre Hugo in a numbered edition of 20 plus two exemplaires d'artiste and two exemplaires d'auteur.
