Dated within the impression, stamped "EMPREINTE ORIGINAL DE PICASSO" and "MADOURA" on the underside. Earthenware clay with umber, white, blue, and yellow/green glazes, diameter 9 3/4 in. (24.6 cm). Condition: Scattered pitting to surface, minor surface grime. Provenance: Through the family of Eleanor Kanegis Levin, co-owner of Kanegis Gallery in Boston from 1953 to 1961, and the Retina Gallery in Cambridge from 1968 to 1971. N.B. While the printing relates to the three Ramie entries referenced above, there are subtle differences. The glazing is a combination of Ramie 305 and 307.
