MANUSCRIPT entitled 'A Nice Creed', [England, c.1793]. 1½pp., 4°. A very amusing parody of the Nicene Creed directed against William Pitt the Younger and Henry Dundas where Pitt represents God, Dundas Christ, George III the Holy Ghost and Paper Money and National Bankruptcy the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. '... and went into Scotland, and was there burnt in Effigy [4 June 1792], and the third Day came back again, (according to the Newspapers) and ascended into Office, and sitteth at the right hand of his Patron ...'
