London: William Clowes for John Murray 1821 [bound with:] A Supplement ... containing an account of the subjects of natural History . London: John Murray 1824 [together with:] Journal of a Second Voyage for the Discovery of a North-West Passage from the Atlantic to the Pacific . London: John Murray 1824. 3 volumes bound in two, 4° (270 x 215mm). 65 engraved plates, charts or maps, 12 of which folding. (Short minor tears to a couple of folding maps and charts, folding chart of Baffins Bay and adjacent leaves 2M3 and 2M4 in vol. I spotted, natural history plates to supplement lightly spotted, occasional light offsetting and browning.) Slightly later calf, gilt spines (extremities lightly rubbed, covers detached). Provenance : Nicholas Vansittart, first Baron Bexley (1766-1851), politician (presentation inscriptions 'with the author's best compliments').
