PERSIAN MANUSCRIPT IN VERSE COPIED FOR AMIR MU'IN AL-DIN 'ALI, IRAN, DATED AH 1015/1606-07 AD Poetry, Persian manuscript on gold sprinkled paper, 45ff., each with 12ll. of black nasta'liq divided in two columns with double gold and black intercolumnar rules, catchwords, opening folio with illuminated headpiece, laid down between gold and polychrome borders on coloured margins, with gold illuminated figurative scenes reserved against the coloured ground, a finely gold illuminated panel laid down on f1r., two later Qajar miniatures in the style of Reza 'Abbasi, damages and repairs, in probably original lacquer binding with gilt and stamped découpé doublures Text panel 6¼ x 3in.
