Besides editing the work, Muir provided seven articles. Originally issued in 10 parts, in several different limitations and states. Kimes notes later two-volume and three-volume issues, but not a four-volume issue. There is only the title-page for the first volume present in this set, and at the beginning of the third volume (labeled Part III on the spine label) is an illustration on silk, not in the regular bound editions.
