Etudiant à l'Ecole des Beaux-Arts, il commence à peindre et exposer de 1976 à 1978. Il réalise à cette époque 41 expositions (collectives et personnelles). En 1978, il ouvre la Galerie Gastaud à Clermont-Ferrand pour se consacrer à la promotion d'autres artistes. Il participe à la diffusion de l'Art Contemporain en Auvergne et organise des expositions de grande envergure ( Picasso, Pignon, Combas, Denis Oppenheim...). En 1992, il ouvre une galerie rue Debelleyme à Paris puis devient éditeur de livres sur l'Art Contemporain (Art inprogress en 1996) . A partir de 1993 il renoue avec la peinture et il expose un peu partout en Europe et dans le monde (Belgique, Bulgarie, USA, Quebec, Suede, Grece, Chine...). Il vit et travaille aujourd'hui à Paris. In 1992, he opened a galerie Debelleyme street in Paris, then became a publisher specialised on contemporary art books (Art inprogress in 1996). From 1993 he starts painting again and he exhibits throughout Europe and the rest of the world: Belgium, Bulgaria, United States, Quebec, Sweden, Greece, China… . Now he lives and works in Paris.
