Original brown pictorial cloth gilt, with a design of an urn and flowers, all edges gilt. 14 1/2 x 10 3/4 inches (37 x 27 cm); hand-colored half-title, 3 ff. including title, plate list and dedication, and eleven magnificent hand-colored plates protected by tissues, each with accompanying leaf of verse, ad leaf at rear (the wreath on the half-title is considered a plate, bringing the count to twelve). Spine neatly rebacked, some spotting to the plates. Dunthorne 13; Nissen BBI 35. C
