(Lacking first blank [ ]1, minor soiling to title of vol. 1, a few pale stains in the index at end.) Eighteenth-century russia gilt (rebacked with original spine preserved, corners worn). Provenance : Joseph Cockshutt, engraved armorial bookplate; John Riley Austen, bookplate. First complete edition in English. Pforzheimer 496; STC 20029; Norman 1719.
