Plinius Secundus, Gaius (23/24-79 CE) ed. Erasmus (d. 1536) Divinum Opus Cui Titulus, Historia Mundi. Basel: Froben, 1525. Folio, A-C6, a-z6, A-Z6, Aa-Kk6, a-b6, c8, d-g6, h10, A-B6, C5 (lacking final leaf C6, blank but for printer's device/colophon) woodcut printer's device on first title, final leaf of text section and title page of index section; woodcut historiated initials used throughout; filled with neat and interesting contemporary marginalia in a number of hands, some browning and spotting, generally good, bound in 17th century German half parchment with parchment corners and marbled paper-covered boards (boards quite worn, structurally intact), margins slightly trimmed, the majority of the marginalia intact and legible, 13 x 9 1/4 in. Adams P-1560.
