The Chinese: A General Description of the Empire of China and its Inhabitants, 2 volumes, circa 1840, engraved plates, oval ink stamps to titles, some spotting and light staining to upper inner hinges of volume 1, original cloth gilt, rubbed, volume 1 slightly damp wrinkled, small 8vo, together with Seidenfaden (Erik) , Guide to Bangkok with Notes on Siam, 1st edition, Siam, 1927, 2 coloured plans including 1 folding, black and white illustrations and commercial adverts, original gilt-decorated limp cloth, rubbed and partly faded on spine, 8vo, plus Crow (Carl) , The Travelers' Handbook for China (including Hongkong), 3rd revised edition, Shanghai, [1933], folding maps and plans and commercial adverts at rear, a little soiling, original limp cloth gilt, rubbed and a little frayed, small 8vo, plus other China, Hong Kong and Asia travel and guide book interest, mostly 20th century (40)
