Jakatallah & Dodabetta, Cannanore, June 1855, watercolour on paper, signed with initials W.S.H., sheet size 294 x 353 mm (11.5 x 14 ins), mounted, with contemporary ink title inscription pasted to verso, together with another similar watercolour by the same hand, titled 'Summit of the Drough', Tippoo's fort on the Neilgherries, Cannanore, March 1855, signed with initials, and dated 1874, sheet size 295 x 452 mm (11.6 x 17.75 ins), mounted, with contemporary ink title mounted to verso, plus 4 large views in India, 2 in brown ink and wash, one in watercolour, and one in black crayon on paper, possibly after William Hodges' Views in India, unsigned, 40.5 x 53.5 cm (16 x 21 ins) and similar, each laid down on early backing card with wash mount, rubbed and some soiling, mostly to edges, and one other watercolour related drawing of Indian dancers on wove paper (unfinished) (7)
