Edwards, 1797, title with early ownership inscription to upper margin Edward Gibson - Hull, 1807, 43 etched and engraved plates by William Blake around letterpress text, often trimmed to plate margin (sheet size 408 x 320 mm), some light spotting and browning, 3 leaves with short closed tear to top margin, without loss (pages 35-40), Explanation of Engravings leaf not present, marbled endpapers, with bookplate of John Nisbet (Co. Northumberland) to front pastedown, top edge gilt, contemporary gilt-panelled plum morocco, with large marbled paper onlaid panel to each cover, spine deficient and covers detached, large 4to Bentley 515.
