MANUSCRIPT ON VELLUM, 124 leaves, first leaf blank, text complete, gatherings mostly of 16 leaves [1 1 7 , 8 1 1 ], signatures in Slavonic alphabetic numerals on last page of each gathering, 25 lines, pricking in outer margin, written in brown ink in semi-cursive hand, heading and initials in red, illuminated headpiece incorporating fantastic beasts in brown, red and yellow, with title 'Davida Proroka Tsare Pesne', 150 five- and six-line initials, some incorporating fantastic animals, one end-piece on final leaf (some leaves soiled, a few with holes from hide imperfections not affecting text).
