Kitaj (1932-2007) Matisse (Kinsman 96) lithograph in colours, 1977, on BFK Rives watermarked paper, one of 15 artist's proofs (there was a published edition of 50), signed and dedicated 'love for John and James' , numbered AP 9/15 in pencil, pale time-staining in the extreme edge of the right margin and 5 fox marks in the top left sheet corner; with Nude Sculpture (Kinsman 82) lithograph on grey handmade paper with Jester watermark, artist's proof, aside from the published edition of 30, dedicated 'for J and J, love Kitaj' in pencil, in good condition; with Men of Europe (Kinsman 62) screenprint in colours on deep violet Canson Montgolfier watermarked paper, artist's proof, aside from the edition of 70, dedicated 'for James love Kitaj' in pencil, soft creases in the lower left sheet corner L. 389 x 357 mm., S. 729 x 560 mm.
