David plate 1 of second series with an old stain which has bled through slightly to next plate. 2 engraved titles and 24 engraved plates (2 series, each numbered 1-12); the first series comprising figures in landscapes within extravagant and imaginative cartouches, in landscape format; the second series mostly river or coastal scenes with figures and buildings in similarly contrived cartouches, in upright format.
