The dial marked ‘Ralph Gout, London’. England, c. 1790. H. 102 cm. W. 46 cm. D. 26 cm. Ralph Gout was an important watch and clockmaker in London. Unfortunately he went bankrupt in 1796 when his stock included many clocks for Spanish and Indian markets and pedometer watches.
