REAR-ADMIRAL SIR CHARLES THOMAS JONES (1778-1853) Naval General Service medal, 1793-1840 two clasps, 1 June 1794, 23 June 1795 (Chas. Thos. Jones). The roll confirms Charles Thomas Jones as an Able Seaman, HMS Leviathan [1/16 clasps to the ship] for the Glorious First of June, and as a Midshipman, HMS Sans Pareil for 23 June 1795 [2/7 clasps to the ship]. Good extremely fine and attractively toned, with original length of riband. Provenance: the recipient and thence by descent.
