Classic Car Auctions says: * Regretfully Withdrawn * Presented here is a well-cared for 1990 W126 560 SEC with the 5.5 V8 M1117 engine and 4G-Tronic automatic gearbox. The W126 was a series of flagship vehicles manufactured to very exacting standards by Mercedes-Benz. The W126 was the second generation of the Mercedes-Benz flagship to officially bear the S-Class name referring to Sonderklasse or "special class." The W126 had a twelve-year production run between 1979 and 1991, the longest of any S-Class generation since the flagship models were first built in the mid-1950s. In September 1981, a 2-door coupé version (C126) of the W126 was introduced. **Please note, this car is showing 'Damaged on Condition Alert Register'. The exact details are unknown, but in 1996 the car was damaged and written-off. This was before write-offs were assigned categories. The car was obviously able to be repaired and made road-worthy again. This appears to have been done well and professionally but please make any inspection thorough and extensive
