ROBERT PARRY aka ROBYN DDU ERYRI (1804-1892) handwritten letter - dated February 1891, the poet thanking most profusely Mr Thomas Fanning Evans (1839-1891) of Mona Lodge, Amlwch (a shareholder and operator of Parys Mines) for a gift bestowed upon Parry, when at the age of 87 he was in apparent desperate financial crisis, the letter is written in Welsh, sent from a Ludlow address and is accompanied by a six verse four line Englyn (Welsh short poem), by way of a tribute to his benefactor
