ROMAN CARNELIAN INTAGLIO WITH STANDING FIGURE OF DIANA 3rd-4th century AD A jasper intaglio of a standing figure of the goddess Diana with cornucopia and torch, set into a later gold ring, the hoop formed from two parallel twisted wire bands with outward scrolled ends, with elliptical bezel and granule detail. 2.98 grams, 20 mm overall, 17.56 mm internal diameter (approximate size British O, USA 7 1/4, Europe 15.0, Japan 14) (3/4").
