Roman Inked Inscribed Tablet Group 4th-6th century AD A bifacial wooden tablet group comprising: a subrectangular panel split into two sections, text to both faces, Side A with five lines of cursive Greek script in a dark brown ink between ruled red guidelines; Side B with fifteen lines of text and fillers between inked guidelines; plus a trapezoidal panel with smoothed surfaces with no visible signs of text remaining; possibly from Late Roman Egypt. 237 grams total, 22-28cm (8 3/4 - 11"). Fair condition; inscribed panel in two components.
