MEDINA DEL CAMPO: FRANCISCO DEL CANTO, 1575 2 volumes, folio (280 x 190mm.), large woodcut royal arms on title-pages, woodcut initials and headpieces, woodcut printer's device at end of each section, sections on Venice and Genoa (with woodcut title-pages) bound at end of volume 2 instead of volume 1, CONTEMPORARY PARISIAN CHESTNUT MOROCCO GILT, possibly by the Eve bindery, covers with leafy centre- and cornerpieces within a panel of double gilt fillets, small lion stamp at centre, small cherub stamp in cornerpieces, spines gilt in compartments with leafy and lion stamps, gilt edges, a few small wormholes in lower margin and gutter, bindings somewhat rubbed, bumped and scraped, spines chipped, volume I: title-page and Vu1 reinforced in gutter, some ink stains on title-page; volume II: occasional light foxing or staining, crude repair to head of 3A5-6
