Royal family.- Album compiled by Kenneth Fry, tutor to Prince Albert (later George VI) and Prince Henry (Duke of Gloucester), containing an autograph essay (one page) by Prince Albert when at Dartmouth Royal Naval College (". . . Life there gets very monotonous, as we do the same routine week in and week out.. ."), an interesting group of photographs (presumably taken by Mr. Fry and unpublished) showing George V and the young princes in various informal surroundings, an autograph post card of 1921 by Prince Albert ("... I am feeling very lonely up here . . ."), an essay by Prince Henry, a series of letters by Prince Henry and others, and a quantity of printed ephemera (menus, programmes, cards etc.), blue morocco, stamped with Easter 1912 in gilt on upper cover, large 4to, 1910s-20s.
