St. Agatha, crowned, is standing in a blue robe, holding in one hand a martyr's palm branch and in the other a dish bearing two female breasts, on orange patterned ground. Leaf numbered at head lxii. Text in black ink in a large gothic textura. 4 lines of music in 'hufnagel' notation on red four-line staves. 4 lines of music on verso, with two large calligraphic initials. The miniature introduces the Response for the Nocturn at Vespers on the feast of St.Agatha (28 January) ' Gaudeamus omnes in domino diem'
