The author Edmund Walstein Davis was heir to the Davis Vegetable Painkiller fortune, and one of the founding members of the Cascapedia Club. One of the more important salmon angling books for the collector. With the decorative bookplate of John Law Dallom, and his ownership signature, dated August '04 on front free endpaper. Lot Amendments Condition: Some wear and staining to boards, darkening and spotting to vellum, rubbing to extremities; areas of finger soiling to endpapers, rear hinge starting a bit; very good.
