He wears the 'Roman' pattern black metal helmet, scarlet coatee, blue laced overalls, full dress sabretache. His charger is shown adorned with the full dress shabraque. (26 x 20 cms). Signed, framed and glazed. This is the original watercolour for the coloured lithograph constituting No. 48 in Spooner's 'Upright Series' 'Officers of the British Army' published c. 1833-36. Excellent condition.
