EXCELLENT LOIRE VALLEY WINES After the first lot of the famous Coulee de Serrant, the section is all about Sauvignon Blanc and the heights it reaches in Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. We are pleased to be offering a selection of wines from the region's most celebrated winemaker, Didier Dagueneau who tragically died last year - these wines can rightly be called the finest Sauvignons in the world. The ageing potential of these wines should also not be underestimated. During our visits to the owner we drank 1996 La Grande Côte from Cotat and 2000 Les Monts Damnés - both were still remarkably fresh with the potential to carry on ageing Savennières, Clos de la Coulée de Serrant Loire.
