SCHRADER, Paul (b. 1946) and Mardik MARTIN. "Raging Bull". Copy of an early draft of the shooting script. 4 o. Mimeographed typescript, 121 pages. Punch bound in blue United Artists covers; quarter morocco folding case with onlay depicting Robert DeNiro as Jake LaMotta. SIGNED BY JAKE LAMOTTA on the title-page. Martin Scorcese's film about the life of boxer Jake LaMotta was released in 1980. Starring Robert DeNiro as LaMotta, Joe Pesci as his brother Joey, and Cathy Moriarty as his wife Vickie, the film was nominated for eight Academy Awards including Best Picture. Raging Bull was the first film in which DeNiro won an Oscar for Best Actor. This copy also includes nine pages of typed production notes relating to the movie and a four-page promotional program distributed at press screenings.
