[SELLER (JOHN)English Pilot the First Book [-and Third Book], 2 works bound in 1 vol., together 48 mostly double-page engraved chart maps (Scotland defective), 6 engraved charts in text of book 3, woodcut illustrations, lacks title to book 1, tears and repairs to first 6 leaves affecting text, loss and repair to a large portion of last 4 leaves, extensive damp-staining and browning, margins frayed, wormholes, contemporary mottled limp calf, worn and rubbed, loss to spine, hinges starting [c.f. It is not uncommon for two books of the Pilot to be bound, as here, in one volume.
