The above two titles by Baum, also includes four further titles, authored by Emma Speed Sampson under the Edith Van Dyne pseudonym: Mary Louise Stands the Test. [1921]. (2 copies) Mary Louis and Jose O'Gorman. [1922]. Josie O'Gorman and the Meddlesome Major. With the original dust jacket. [1924]. Seven volumes, in the original cloth. Good run from the Mary Louise series, "considered the successor to the Aunt Jane's Nieces books, since Baum employed the same pseudonym and published his first title the year after he completed the previous series. Mary Louise was the name of Baum's favorite sister." (Swann/Schiller 271). Lot Amendments Condition: All with some wear, previous owner's names, etc.; overall very good. Item number: 259974
